The watcher is Alex Shaw, and he too works from home, designing logic and crossword puzzles. Alex’s options are limited: he’s too shy to approach Luke and his wheelchair won’t let him follow into the woods. His solution? Secret messages for Luke in the crosswords he writes for the local paper.
When Luke decodes them, romance begins, but then they face greater puzzles, like Alex’s interfering sister and what commitment to a man in a wheelchair really takes. And, most puzzling of all, how do you know if love is real?

Oh my goodness what a cute book!
It was a quick read, maybe because I couldn't put it down.
It's been a long time since I've read a book that I loved everything about it. From the "meet cute" to the "courting" to everything in between.
Luke and Alex as so much alike yet opposite. One of the main difference being is Alex is in a wheel chair. But just because he's been confined to a wheel chair since he was born he doesn't let that stop him from doing things. He's a bit shy and very corny he's a perfect fit for the big long haired Luke.
Luke and Alex meet in the most unusual way. Luke receives a copy of the Examiner new paper he didn't sign up for. Being a sucker for crossword puzzles he couldn't resist completing it. Which is where he finds his first hidden message. Luke is persistent and does everything he can to find his mystery puzzle maker.
I honestly didn't want this book to end. And the hardest part about writing this review is trying to give enough information to entice a person to read but not wanting to give away the whole story line. My recommendation is read it, you wont be disappointed.

Eli has loved romance since her teens and she particular admires writers who can combine literary merit, genuine humor, melting hotness, and eye-dabbing sweetness into one story. She promises to strive to achieve most of that most of the time. She currently lives on a farm in Pennsylvania with her husband, bulldogs, cows, a cat, and lots of groundhogs.
In romance, Eli is best known for her Christmas stories because she’s a total Christmas sap. These include “Blame it on the Mistletoe”, “Unwrapping Hank” and “Merry Christmas, Mr. Miggles”. Her “Howl at the Moon” series of paranormal romances featuring the town of Mad Creek and its dog shifters has been popular with readers. And her series of Amish-themed romances, Men of Lancaster County, has won genre awards.
